We are like four children who remain kids throughout our lives

We love to be fussed over, we are playful even as we get older.
We are sensitive to our surroundings,

but do not get angry or hold a grudge.
We eat small amounts and don’t make a mess. 

We don’t smell, we do feel the cold easily yet we are robust.
Sometimes we are rat catchers, sometimes rabbit hunters

 and make good guard dogs.

We snooze with our eyes only half closed, curled up on a pillow.
We welcome a visitor with endless fuss.
Chasing a cat or a swallow, bouncing like a ball, we are gracious and

 entertaining and we have an unquestionable affection to our owner
